Why BuddyPress register page redirects to home?

So you’ve install BuddyPress into WordPress and added a register page to BuddyPress in WordPress dashboard -> Settings -> BuddyPress -> Pages.  

But when you try to go to the register page that you have just configured, you are not able to see it.  It keeps redirecting you to the homepage.

If this is the case, they you are probably logged in as administrator. BuddyPress registration page can not be viewed if you are logged in.  BuddyPress will just redirect to home.

You have to log out and then go to the registration page.

Alternatively, you can view it in another browser where you are not logged in — not another browser tab, but another browser entirely (for example, Chrome and Firefox).  Or you can view in Chrome’s incognito window.
