Why FileZilla Adds Extra Lines

Why is it that FileZilla keeps adding an extra line after every single line in my text file whenever I download the file from my server to local disk?

It may be that your transfer setting is set to either ASCII or Auto.  Try setting Transfer data type to “Binary”, even if it is a text file.
