Tis the Season to Speak in Rhyme

Around this year, around this time,
it seems that people speak in rhyme.

I’m not sure what is the reason,
perhaps it got something to do with the season.

That is the purpose of the game,
it is to come up with words that sound the same.

This is easy if you are a writer.
But not so, if you are just a coder.

How long does it take to come up with a good rhyme?
How much effort in terms of time?

Maybe a half hour or so.
That’s it!?  Let’s start now.  Let’s go!

We code and did our best.
Now time to do unit test.

Okay.  The test scripts are done.  Hooray! Hooray!
It only took about half a day.

But then content changed, our script is broken.
We can not access test environment, we lost our token.

Our coding is done. So don’t worry!
So is our documentation as per the story.

All fixes are in pull requests.
Some involving Javascript, and some CSS.

We tested on every device and every machine —
combing for bugs and making code clean.

For technical checkout, we stayed up all night —
making sure things are perfect and right.

That’s it. Our sprint is done.
Battles have been lost and won.

Release criteria have been met.
And approvals are all set.

We are ready to release tomorrow night.
So that we can end the year right.
