Have you heard of Google Offers? I just saw an ad for it on the web and when I clicked on the ad, it brought me to “Google Offers”. If you are already signed into your Google Account (such as gmail, etc) when you land in Google Offers, then Google Offers will automatically subscribe you for your city. Yes, Google knows where you live.

What does subscribing to Google Offers means? It means that Google will send you offers of discounted deals in and around where you live. Kind-of-like how Groupon.com does it.

But what if you don’t want to subscribe and get extra emails? In the Google Offers settings, you can easily un-subscribe. Or you can subscribe to multiple cities. It’s up to you.

If you just want to go to Google Offers to take a look, their URL is at http://www.google.com/offers

Here is Google’s promotional video of their program…
