How to Update WordPress Plugins

When you log into WordPress admin, you will see a number next to the Updates menu indicating the number of plugins that has new versions available.

1. When you click the Updates menu, you will see a list of plugins that need updating…

2. If you want to update all of them, you can checkmark all of them and click “Update Plugins”.

3. When completed, you should see success message for each of the plugins …

Note:

Updating WordPress Plugins is separate from updating the WordPress version. It is more important to keep the WordPress version up to date. See tutorial here on Updating WordPress Version.
