Dreamweaver FTP put giving permission denied

Dreamweaver CC is giving an error something like …

“Access denied. The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem. Make sure you have proper authorization on the server and the server is properly configured.”

when I do a FTP “put”.  FTP “get” works fine.

When I use another FTP client, I have no problem.  So obviously, this is not a permission issue or wrong password thing.  Could it be a bug in Dreamweaver?
